Police deployed around major banks

BHUBANESWAR: City police on Wednesday deployed personnel in groups around major banks in the capital city apprehending a major loot or attack.

Commissioner of Police Bijay Sharma, however, termed the deployment as a regular exercise on part of police to make banking institutions aware to enhance security. He said a bank docoity at Betnati in Mayurbhanj district, however, was a reason behind the deployment.
