BHUBANESWAR: Frankfinn, a leading airhostess training institute, plans to open 70 new centres in India as well as abroad during the next two years.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Shaibal Ghosh, head of Frankfinn’s International Operation and Eastern Region said the institute could move to SAARC countries, Southeast Asian region and Africa. Frankfinn, which is world’s biggest airhostess training institute, has over 115 centres across India while one centre is operating in Dubai.

With the aviation sector witnessing an incredible growth over few years, there would be tremendous scope for new employments, Mr. Ghosh said. “Right now there are 225 commercial jets flying in the country while orders for 900 new planes have been placed.

The boom would continue for the next two decades. Frankfinn, which has 80 per cent market share in the sector, has positioned itself well to cash in on the boom,” he said.

Students from the various centres of eastern region of Frankfinn had been absorbed in leading airlines and hotels in the country and abroad. Recently 10 students joined the Air Arabia Airlines, through campus placement, with a salary of a whopping Rs. 89,000 per month, Mr. Ghosh said.

Frankfinn tied up with Jet Airways to familiarise its students with off and on flight procedures and Jet Airways would dedicate exclusive one hour long flight for its students twice a week for a year, he said.

About 170 students from Orissa have got jobs in several airways and hospitality and travel industries. Centre head at Frankfinn’s Bhubaneswar branch Renu Singh Mishra also spoke on the occasion.
