Power shutdown

There will be a power shutdown in the following areas between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday owing to maintenance work at Anaiyur substation: Pasingapuram, Vaigaikulam, Kovil Pappakudi, Sikkandar Chavadi, DSP Avenue, Sangeeth Nagar, Railar Nagar, Shanthi Nagar, Raj Nagar, Chokkalinga Nagar, Periyar Nagar, Pandi Nagar, Karisalkulam, IOC Nagar, VMW Colony, Anaiyur Sector 1 & 2, J.J. Nagar, Koodal Nagar, Panagudi, Kulamangalam Main Road, S. Alangulam, Anaiyur, LIC Office, Anaiyur Tamil Nadu Housing Board, S.V.P. Nagar, Income tax and police housing quarters, Prasanna Nagar, Anbu Nagar, Alamelu Nagar, Abdul Kalam Colony and Imayam Nagar, according to a Tamil Nadu Electricity Board press release.
