Complaint against legislators

BANGALORE: The Lokayukta on Wednesday filed complaints against three MLAs and a former MLA accusing them of lying about their assets and liabilities. The complaints were filed before the 8th Additional City Metropolitan Magistrate Court.

Registrar of Lokayukta L. Subramanya filed the complaints against two Congress MLAs Santosh S. Lad from Kalghatgi and C.P. Yogeshwar from Channapatna and BJP MLA V.C. Charantimath from Bagalkot. Another complaint has been filed against the former Congress MLA from Holalkere A.V. Umapathi.
