MBA, MCA entrance test postponed to June 29

Schedule for ME, M.Tech, M.Arch courses unchanged

Applications available at VTU regional offices
Seat selection process likely from July 26

Bangalore: The MBA, MCA entrance test conducted by the Karnataka PGCET Cell has been postponed. The test will be held on June 29. It was earlier scheduled for June 15.

The schedule was changed during the Central Post Graduate Admission Committee (CPAC) meeting held on May 16, a press release said. The schedule was revised in view of the postponement of degree examinations by some universities.

However, the schedule for the ME/M.Tech/M.Arch courses remains unchanged. The last date to submit applications for these courses is May 31 and the test for the same will be conducted on June 22. The last date for the submission of applications for the MBA/MCA courses is June 16.

The release said that the applications for MBA/MCA and the ME/M.Tech/M.Arch courses are available at the four regional offices of the Vivesvaraya Technological University.

The last date to submit marks cards to VTU is July 19 in case of those applying for the MBA/MCA programmes and July 21 for those applying for the ME/M.Tech/M.Arch courses. The ranks for the MBA/MCA courses and for ME/M.Tech/M.Arch programmes will be declared on July 24 and July 25 respectively. The seat selection process has been tentatively fixed from July 26 to August 14 for the MBA/MCA courses, and July 28 for the ME/M.Tech/M.Arch courses.
