Trains cancelled, diverted

NEW DELHI: The ongoing Gujjar agitation in Kota Division of Northern Railway continued to hamper rail movement in the Capital on Wednesday with 10 trains being cancelled and several diverted.

The trains cancelled were Hazrat Nizamuddin-Mumbai Central-Hazrat Nizamuddin August Kranti Express, Dehra Dun-Bandra Terminus, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Udaipur Intercity Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Indore Intercity Express and Firozpur-Mumbai Central Janta Express. While the New Delhi-Mumbai-Rajdhani Express and Amritsar-Bandra Terminus-Paschim Express were diverted to run via Mathura-Agra-Bhopal-Nagda, the Jammu Tawi-Mumbai Central Swaraj Express and Amritsar-Mumbai Central Golden Temple Mail were diverted to run via Mathura-Agra-Jhansi-Bhopal-Nagda. Bus passengers travelling to Rajasthan were also inconvenienced.
