One dead in house roof collapse

NEW DELHI: A young man was killed and three sustained injuries when the roof of a house collapsed at Mansarovar Park here on Wednesday.

According to the Fire Service Department, the roof of the under-construction house came crumbling down around 2-30 p.m. at Ram Nagar, trapping four persons. The victims were pulled out of the rubble and taken to a nearby hospital.

Dharmender (30) later died in the hospital. The injured have been identified as Sanjay (22), Ashok (23) and Satish (25).
