Sub-Inspector, constable arrested

BANGALORE: The Lokayukta police on Tuesday arrested a police Sub-Inspector and a constable from Chikkajala police station for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000 from a resident of Hosahalli. The Lokayukta police caught Sub-Inspector Sandeep Kowri and constable Prasanna Kumar while they were accepting Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 2,000, respectively. The two have been booked under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
