Workshop on captive elephants

Bangalore: A two-day workshop on captive elephants will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Ballal Residency Hotel here to discuss welfare parameters and the significance of elephant-keeping. The workshop is being organised by the Asian Nature Conservation Foundation and Compassion Unlimited Plus Action under the auspices of the Project Elephant of the Ministry of Environment and Forests.
