Power shutdown in Puducherry tomorrow

PUDUCHERRY: Power will be suspended in the following areas on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm, owing to maintenance work to be carried out at the 110-kv substation at Kurumbapet:

Iyyankuttipalayam, Kurumbapet including industrial estate, Mettupalayam, Shanmugapuram, Meenatchipet, Datchinamurthy Nagar, Sokkanathanpet, Kathirkamam, Coundanpalayam, Pettaiyanchathiram, Thattanchavady including industrial estate, Veeman Nagar, V.V.P. Nagar, Pakkamudayanpet, Anandapuram, Rajaji Nagar and East Coast Road in Lawspet are among these areas.

Other areas which will go without power are Thilagar Nagar, Ramanapuram, Navarkulam, all educational institutions in Lawspet, Kurunji Nagar, Kumaran Nagar, government staff quarters in Lawspet, Ashok Nagar, Santhi Nagar, Vallalar Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Avvai Nagar, Nesavalar Nagar, Shanmuga Nagar, Mahaveer Nagar, Karuvadikuppam and Samipillaithottam.
