PUDUCHERRY: The State National Service Scheme (NSS) cell has invited applications from public to be part of the scheme. The cell, in a release, said 185 educational institutions and 19,000 students were part of the NSS in Puducherry. The Union government has granted permission to start an open unit, for persons other than students, from this year. For details, contact the Office of the State Liaison Officer NSS at Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Centenary Educational Complex or call 9486366572. Applications should be submitted by June 10.
