‘Rythu sadassulu’ from June 5

Kakinada: The district administration is making arrangements to conduct ‘rythu sadassulu’ from June 5 to 9. These farmers’ awareness campaign will be held at Amalapuram on June 5, Kakinada (June 6), Peddapuram (June 7), Rajahmundry (June 8) and Rampachodavaram (June 9).
Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi stated in a press release that farmers would be educated about the farm practices, inputs required by them and the schemes meant for their advancement.
Scientists of agricultural research stations and Krishi Vignan Kendras would impart technical knowledge to enable farmers achieve better yield.
The focus would be on modern agricultural implements, seed village concept and vermi-compost which play a crucial role in improving the yield.
