Rourkela: A 15-year-old girl, missing for a week, was rescued from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, police said. Four youths were arrested on the charge of kidnapping the girl a week ago from her house at Tensa, 110 km from here, police said on Thursday. The raids were conducted after the lodging of complaints by the girls’ parents. While Sushil Bhangara (21), who had allegedly elope with the minor, was arrested from Varanasi three other youths were arrested later. The three other accomplices reportedly helped Sushil to elope with the girl, police said adding a jeep used in the kidnapping was seized. All four youths were produced before a court who remanded them to two weeks’ judicial custody. PTI
