Minor raped, killed

Muzaffarnagar: The body of an eight-year-old girl, who was raped and murdered, was found on Thursday in fields at a village in this district, police said.

The minor girl, a resident of Kudana village, went missing since Wednesday evening and her body was found on Thursday in the village field, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajai Anand said.

The victim was murdered after being raped, Mr. Anand said, adding a case against unidentified people has been registered and investigations are on.
