Kalam to release encyclopaedia

BANGALORE: A Concise Encyclopaedia of Hinduism, authored by Swami Harshananda, president of the Ramakrishna Math, Bangalore, will be released by the former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam here on Saturday.

Swami Harshananda told presspersons here on Thursday that the book covered all aspects of the Hindu religion, philosophy and culture.

The three volumes, containing 700 pages each, took nearly 33 years to complete and is priced at Rs. 1,500. — Staff Reporter
