SBI’s net profit Rs.241 crore

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Bank of India (SBI), Kerala circle, achieved a total business of Rs.20,000 crore during the just concluded financial year. Aggregate deposits grew by 16 per cent to Rs.12,196 crore and advances by 29 per cent to Rs.8,840 crore as at the end of March 2008. The growth in domestic deposits is 36%. The circle recorded a net profit of Rs.241 crore. There was a growth of nearly 70% in home loan.
