LVB to open 12 new branches

BANGALORE: Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) will open 12 new branches in different parts of the country, on a single day — May 30. According to a press release from the bank on Thursday, the new branches will be located at Panipat (Haryana), Rohini (New Delhi), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Bilwara (Rajasthan), Kalyan and Kharghar (Maharasthra), Khammam, Anantapur and Adilabad (Andhra Pradesh), Bhubaneshwar (Orissa), Karanodai and Ayodhyapattinam (Tamil Nadu). With the new inclusion the total branches of LVB will go up to 251 and covers most of the States in the country.

The bank will also press into service 12 ATM centres attached to the branches, taking the number of ATMs to 50. The release issued by Managing Director of the Bank V.S. Reddy stated that the bank has achieved 100 per cent Core Banking Solution (CBS).

The bank is in an advanced stage of rolling out internet banking and mobile banking services.
