LUCKNOW: With the police remand of Rajesh Talwar, the main accused in the Noida double murder case due to expire on Friday, the Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday moved an application in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Gautam Buddha Nagar for conducting a narco-analysis test on Dr. Talwar. The police plea will come up for hearing on June 2. The court directed that a copy of the application be provided to counsel for the accused. For corroborationPolice claimed that ‘evidence’ gathered during the ongoing investigation made the test necessary. The Assistant Director General, Law and Order and Special Task Force, Brij Lal, said here that the result would help investigators corroborate the evidence gathered. Mr. Lal told newsmen that the police had gathered printouts from the deceased, Aarushi Talwar’s computer and call details of the telephone and cell phone. These were submitted in the CJM court.Among the police findings was an e-mail purportedly sent by the schoolgirl. Mr. Lal refused to divulge the name of the person to whom the e-mail was sent.
