Flagship model is priced at Rs. 20,585 Targets style-conscious consumers NEW DELHI: Samsung Telecommunications India (STI) on Thursday launched its flagship model “Soul” (SGH-U900) and seven new stylish mobiles across the popular Guru series, multimedia and business phone segment. The company also made a foray into the mobile accessories business in India. Priced at Rs. 20,585, ‘Soul’ sleek smartphone is equipped with various applications and features, including ‘Magic Touch’ navigation indicators, a 5 megapixel camera, a 7.2 Mbps high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) browser for fast Internet access and quicker downloads. According to Samsung Telecommunications India Country Head, Sunil Dutt, “Soul is targeted at style-conscious consumers.The company launched other mobiles, including multimedia handsets priced between Rs. 3,795 and Rs. 14,799. It also strengthened its popular ‘Guru’ series with the introduction of ‘Guru 145’ and ‘Guru 300’ priced at Rs. 1,696 and Rs. 2,999 respectively. Samsung also announced its foray into the mobile accessory market by launching a host of stylish accessories, including Bluetooth headsets (both mono and stereo), portable speakers, car adaptor and other standard accessories.
