Free TV sets given

Transport Minister K.N.Nehru distributed free colour television sets to 318 families at Panaiyapuram in Srirangam taluk on Thursday.

Nearly 30 per cent of the district’s population have been provided free colour televisions so far, Mr.Nehru said speaking on the occasion.
