Cheque given away

Sub Collector Gaurav Uppal handed over a cheque of Rs. 1.50 lakh to Juvvanapudi Bujji on Thursday. Ms. Bujji’s husband, Juvvanapudi Prabhudas, was killed by miscreants. Prabhudas, a resident of Nunna, used to work as lorry cleaner, and was killed on October 10, 2005. The government gave the compensation under the SC& ST atrocity Act.
