Kakarla Usha appointed Chennai Collector

CHENNAI: N. Sundaradevan, IAS, has been posted as the Secretary, Environment and Forests Department vice R. Rajagopal, IAS. Dr. Sundaradevan will also hold the post of Chairman, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.

Smita Nagaraj, IAS, Chairperson and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation, is posted as Secretary, Energy Department in the place of S. Audiseshiah, IAS, holding additional charge. M. Jayaraman, IAS, Commissioner, Corporation of Salem, is posted as Collector, Nagapattinam district, in the place of T.S. Jawahar, IAS.

Kakarla Usha, IAS, Additional Commissioner (Education), Corporation of Chennai is posted as Collector, Chennai district vice T. Anbalagan (DRO), holding additional charge. U. Sagayam, IAS, Joint Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection is posted as Collector, Namakkal district, vice G. Govindaraj (DRO) holding additional charge.

M. Rajendran, IAS, Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, is posted as Collector, Thiruvannamalai district vice Satyabrata Sahoo, IAS.

Reeta Harish Thakkar, IAS, Joint Commissioner (Relief and Rehabilitation), Office of the Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Revenue Administration is posted as Collector, Pudukkottai district vice D. Uthirakkumaran, IAS.
