Integrated management system for NLC hospital

CUDDALORE: Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Neyveli Lignite Corporation S. Jayaraman inaugurated a Rs.4.5-crore integrated hospital management system at the NLC general hospital in Neyveli on Wednesday.

Mr. Jayaraman said Tata Consultancy Services had designed the system. It had also incorporated a telemedicine facility, provided with the help of the Indian Space Research Organisation.

Now the hospital was equipped with four modern facilities such as a computer centre, tele-ECG, integrated hospital management and NLC hospital website. He said the medical team had been properly trained in handling the sophisticated equipment.
