UPA-Left panel to meet on June 18

NEW DELHI: The UPA-Left joint committee on the India-U.S. nuclear deal will meet here on June 18. The meeting, scheduled for May 28, was put off as some Ministers were travelling abroad. The new date was fixed after mutual consultations and the Left parties were informed by the government on Thursday. The meeting is expected to further discuss India-specific safeguards agreement, which the government negotiators finalised with the IAEA.
