Three die in suicide pact

NEW DELHI: A 52-year-old widow and her two sons, both in their twenties allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in their house at Subzi Mandi here on Thursday.
The incident came to light when their milkman, Sagar, knocked at the door in the morning. When there was no response, he alerted the family’s landlord and neighbours who found Kusum Lata Jain and her sons, Pramod and Sachin, lying unconscious in the house. The neighbours reported the matter to the police who rushed the three to a hospital where they were declared brought dead. The police reportedly found a bottle and three empty glasses near the bodies, suggesting that they probably ended their lives by consuming some poisonous substance.
