Adoor’s films in Israel

Thiruvananthapuram: Israel’s Cinema South international festival beginning in the city of Sderot on Sunday will pay tribute to filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan. Three of his films – ‘Nizhalkkuthu,’ ‘Vidheyan’ and the ‘Dance of the Enchantress’ – will be shown on the occasion. Mr. Gopalakrishnan will attend the festival.

The Jerusalem film festival beginning on July 20 is scheduled to premiere ‘Naalu Pennungal’ (Four Women) in the country.
