Kerala Minister hopeful

Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Minister for Water Resources N.K. Premachandran has said that his State wants an early settlement to the issues raised in the review of the Parambikulam-Aliyar Project agreement. He told presspersons after conclusion of the talks at the level of the Chief Secretaries of Kerala and Tamil Nadu on Friday that a delay in the matter would not benefit Kerala. He was hopeful that the issues could be resolved during the talks in August. The agreement needed to be changed to suit the current situation.
