This Day That Age
The Soviet official news agency Tass announced on May 29 the award of five Lenin Peace Prizes for “strengthening peace among nations.” The recipients of the award given annually are Prof. Kaoru Iasui (Japan), Arnold Zweig (Germany), a writer, Louis Saillant, French Trade Union leader, Artur Lindquist, a Swedish writer, and Prof. Josef Hromadka, Czechoslovakia.
