HYDERABAD: Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha, who was selected to the Indian squad for the tri-series in Bangladesh and Asia Cup, says that he is ready for the big challenge even while admitting that he had not expected the call for national duty to come so soon. “I was just focussing on playing well consistently and had left it to the selectors,” the 21-year-old told said here on Friday. “The Indian Premier League experience of bowling to the best cricketers from the across the world has improved my confidence level. I am definitely a more confident bowler and have been learning some new things like mastering the top-spinner, from Kanwaljit Singh (who was the assistant coach of Deccan Chargers in the IPL),” Ojha said. “I always looked up to Venkatapathi Raju (now National selector) as my role model and I will be happy to live up to his expectations. No doubt, it is a dream come true to play for India and my next goal will be to play Test cricket,” Ojha added.
