Vikas Chauhan scalps five

NEW DELHI: A five-wicket haul by Vikas Chauhan helped Moodi International (Panchkula) to a five-wicket victory over ITC (Gurgaon) in the pre-quarterfinals of the 35th all-India Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial cricket tournament at the St. Stephen’s College ground, here on Friday.

In the quarterfinals, Moodi International will challenge the champion of the last four years, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, on Saturday.

The scores: ITC (Gurgaon) 92 in 24.2 overs (Vikas Chauhan five for 20) lost to Moodi International (Panchkula) 93 for five in 20.3 overs.
