Bharath’s superb spell

Bangalore: Bharath’s spell (four for zero) helped host Laabh Jewellers defeat EIOC Uttar Pradesh by 135 runs in a Laabh Jewellers BPCA Cup tournament’s under-16 section match here recently.

The scores:

Laabh Jewellers 217 for eight in 30 overs (Sagar 96, Siddarth 40) bt EIOC, U.P. 82 in 14.3 overs (Bharath four for zero).

Mishra Sports 109 in 23.4 overs lost to Abhijeet Sinha CA, Lucknow 111 for one in 11.3 overs.

Alpine CA 152 in 25 overs (Rohit Bhatti 40) lost to Laabh Jewellers 153 for two in 15 overs (Praveen 66, Krishna 41).

Wesley CA 203 in 29.5 overs (Manoj 69) lost to Laabh Jewellers 206 for six in 29.4 overs (Kayan Abbas 40).

Wesley CA 182 for four in 25 overs (Prince Ojha 96 not out) bt EIOC, U.P. 142 in 22 overs (Vishal 56).

MCA, Kolkata 129 for four in 15 overs (Sonu 48 not out) bt Alpine CA 120 for five in 15 overs (Manu 47 not out).

Vijay Paul CA, Hyderabad 213 in 29.3 overs (R. Rahul 82, Anshul four for 41) bt Abhijeet Sinha CA, Lucknow 108 in 23.5 overs (Satwik 43).
