100 schools score cent per cent pass

THENI: Dindigul district achieved 90.5 per cent and Theni 89.15 per cent pass in SSLC examination this year. In matriculation exams Dindigul scored 97.6 per cent and Theni 94.96 per cent.

One hundred schools in Dindigul district achieved cent per cent results. Government schools in Palani educational district performed exceedingly well. Fifty-five schools including 14 government schools, mostly in remote areas, 11 aided schools, 28 self-financing schools achieved cent per cent results in Palani educational district.

In Dindigul educational district, 45 schools including four government schools, one Government Kallar HSS, Kamupillaichatram, 13 aided schools, seven self-financing schools and 19 matriculation schools reached similar achievements, according to L. Lakshmi Kanthan, Chief Educational Officer here on Friday.

Government schools in Agaram, Konur, Porulur, Periakottai, Devanaickenpatti and Azhagapuri have been achieving cent per cent results for the past two years consecutively.
