JAIPUR: Construction of a new four-lane Kota by-pass on National Highway No.76 in Rajasthan as part of the East-West corridor under the second phase of the National Highway Development Project is going ahead at a fast pace. The State Government has so far spent Rs.41.03 crore on the construction. According to an official release here, a bridge on the Chambal river near Kota would also be constructed under the project. The by-pass will reduce the pressure of heavy traffic in Kota city.
