Registration opens for pre-counselling guidance

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Registration has begun for this year’s pre-counselling guidance programme being organised by The Hindu-EducationPlus for those seeking admission to professional courses.

The programme, an annual event, will be held at the Tagore Centenary Hall, Vazhuthacaud on June 15.

Experts participating in the programme will provide students with an introduction to the counselling and seat allotment process conducted under the aegis of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations and an overview of the key courses.

A question-and-answer session during which experts will clear the doubts of the students will also be held.

The event is being organised in association with State Bank of Travancore (SBT) and is co-sponsored by the Triumphant Institute of Management Education (T.I.M.E). A handbook providing a comprehensive overview of the main courses will be provided free to each participant. Entry is on a first come, first served basis and students can register themselves in advance on payment of a registration fee of Rs.50 each.

The registration form is available at the office of The Hindu, Airport Road, Vallakkadavu, Thiruvananthapuram -695 008 (ph: 0471 2502001, 2502002).

Outstation candidates can register themselves for the event by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope seeking an application form. In such cases, the actual registration will take place on the spot before the event begins.

Similar programmes are also being organised in Kozhikode on June 9 and in Kochi on June 14.
