Train services cancelled, diverted

NEW DELHI: Because of the ongoing agitation by Gujjars in Rajasthan, eight trains from the Capital were cancelled and several others diverted.

The cancelled trains included the Dehra Dun-Bandra Terminus-Dehra Dun Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Udaipur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Intercity Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Indore-Hazrat Nizamuddin Intercity Express and Firozpur-Mumbai Central-Firozpur Janata Express.

The Hazrat Nizamuddin-Kota-Hazrat Nizamuddin Jan Shatabdi Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Bandra Terminus Garibrath Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Mumbai Central August Kranti Express and Jammu Tawi-Bandra Terminus Special train were also cancelled on Friday. Trains scheduled to pass through the affected section were diverted to run on alternative route via Mathura-Agra-Jhansi Bhopal-Nagda.
