Minimum wages for contract workers

Kakinada: Superintendent of Government General Hospital (GGH) M Surya Kumari has formally agreed for payment of minimum wages to more than 200 contract workers as per the G.O No. 2501, according to a press release by Andhra Pradesh Medical Contract Workers’ Union GGH committee honorary president K Krishna Rao. He said the GGH Superintendent had consented to place the proposals for approval by the hospital development committee.
