Milk price up by Rs. 2 a litre

HYDERABAD: Toned milk supplied by the Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Co-operative Federation will cost Rs.2 more for a litre from June 1. One litre of toned milk would cost Rs.20, as against Rs.18 earlier. A press release issued by the federation said the revised price of Vijaya milk would be applicable on monthly cards too, purchased with effect from June 1. The revised prices will be: Rs.12.50 (for 500 ml whole milk, Rs.11 (500 ml standardised), Rs. 9.50 (500 ml family), Rs.9 (500 ml double toned), Rs.8 (500 ml diet).
