ACB nabs Tahsildar

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Friday arrested Nazeer Ahmad, Tahsildar of Chilamathur mandal in Anantapur district on charges of taking a bribe of Rs.1,000. An ACB press release on Saturday stated that Ahmad had demanded the amount for forwarding a licence renewal application of Valmiki Video Theatre to the RDO. –Special Correspondent.
