DU organises anti-tobacco march

NEW DELHI: Students, teachers and karamcharis of Delhi University were joined by local residents during an awareness march against smoking and tobacco use at Kamla Nagar here over the weekend.

The march was organised by the University in collaboration with the World Lung Foundation, the Delhi police and the traders’ association of Jawahar Nagar and Kamla Nagar to maintain the North Campus as a tobacco-free zone.

The rally culminated near Kranti Chowk at Maurice Nagar.
