Tejas Suri tops pre-medical examination

NEW DELHI: Tejas Suri has topped the Delhi Pre-Medical Test (DPMT) this year.

The results of the test were declared here over the weekend.

Nearly 10,000 candidates appeared at the examination conducted by Delhi University for admission to 85 per cent of the 450 seats up for grabs.

These seats are for the University College of Medical Sciences, Maulana Azad Medical College and Lady Hardinge Medical College.

The remaining 15 per cent seats will be filled by the All-India Pre-Medical Test.

About 40 additional seats are on offer at the Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences.

Those qualifying the DPMT will fill about 85 per cent of these seats.
