Glenview (USA): Arjun Atwal was among the few golfers who could complete 18 holes in the second round suspended due to darkness, turning in an even-par 72 to take the tied 18th spot in the $750,000 Bank of America Open in the Nationwide Tour here. Atwal, who was tied 10th overnight with a first-round score of 67, has a total of five-under 139. It was a subdued performance by the Orlando-based golfer, who played his back nine first. His first birdie came on the 17th hole in a flawless back nine. The front nine also went steady and Atwal picked up a stroke on the fifth before hitting a rough patch. He stumbled to back-to-back bogeys on the sixth and seventh holes to end the day on a disappointing note. At the top, American Skip Kendall sizzled with a 65 to take a two-stroke lead with a total of 11-under 133. — PTI
