Judokas to train in Uzbekistan

NEW DELHI: The two Indian women judokas Tombi Devi and Divya who have qualified for the Beijing Olympics in the 48 and 78 kg weight categories will undergo training in Uzbekistan with the Olympic silver medallist, coach Arman Bagdasarove.

In a release issued on Saturday, the Secretary General of the Judo Federation of India (JFI), Mukesh Kumar, stated the communication about the qualification of the judokas, on the basis of their performance in the Asian Championship, had been received from the Judo Union of Asia.
