Landlord arrested
NEW DELHI: The landlord who was wanted in the double murder case in which an advocate and his father were kidnapped and killed allegedly by his sons and a relative at Nand Nagri in December 2007 has been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police.
According to the police, Rajender Singh was arrested and a Maruti Alto car and a mobile phone allegedly used in the crime were recovered from him.
The police said Rajender had admitted having given Rs.40,000 to Hatam Gujjar, a notorious criminal, for carrying out the killing. Hatam allegedly roped in other accomplices to execute the killings. The lawyer was taken to Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh and killed.
