Auto LPG price hiked
Staff Reporter
Bangalore: Oil companies have raised the price of auto LPG by Rs. 2.52 a litre in Bangalore and other cities in the State from Saturday midnight.
However, this increase has nothing to do with the proposed hike in fuel prices, but is part of the periodic revision of auto and commercial LPG cylinders, said a representative of a public sector oil company. Following this hike, the price of auto LPG has gone up to Rs. 36.63 per litre from Rs. 34.11.
The price of commercial LPG cylinders has also been increased by Rs. 78.85.
A commercial LPG cylinder (19 kg) in Bangalore will now cost Rs. 1,158.95 instead of Rs.1,080.10.
