A pedestrian was killed after a tractor hit him at Kandukur in Ranga Reddy district on Saturday. Police said M. Kranthi Kumar (15), a resident of Maheswaram, was crossing the road when the accident occurred. The boy was a tenth-standard student.

The Cyberabad police on Saturday retrieved the body of a girl aged around 17 from Durgam Cheruvu in Madhapur. She was clad in a brown sari and green blouse. The body was preserved at the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for identification.
