NALGONDA: A 20-year-old widow was allegedly raped by three youngsters at the Venkatadripalem industrial area near Miryalaguda town on Friday night. Police enquires revealed that the three youngsters — Swamy, Mani and Subbu, aged between 19 to 20 years —committed the crime, SubInspector Parthasarathy told reporters on Saturday. She was reportedly in the night shift in a rice mill. One among the trio asked her to come out to take a phone call from her relatives and gagged her mouth before taking her into the nearby bushes, it is learnt. “As soon as she came out of the workplace, the three persons pounced on her and committed the heinous crime,” the official said. The victim, whose husband passed away recently, is survived by two girl children.
