Shimla: The stage is set for the five-day International Shimla Summer Festival beginning on Monday, even as the temperature in the hill station scaled unprecedented notches this season. Governor V.S. Kokje will inaugurate the festival at historic Ridge Maidan, Shimla Deputy Commissioner J.S. Rana said on Sunday. Besides a number of popular national artistes, a large number of artistes from Himachal Pradesh would showcase their talents during the carnival. Security has been enhanced for the event, which has been celebrated annually for about four decades now.
