People disgruntled with the UPA government over the sky-rocketing prices of essential goods: BJP

Chittoor: The people were disgruntled with the UPA government over the sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities compared to the NDA government said Naresh, State general secretary, BJP.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday he said that the party workers were enthused over the success of BJP in Karnataka and exhorted the workers in Andhra Pradesh to keep the same trend alive and work together to capture power in Andhra Pradesh also in the ensuing elections.

The UPA government is continuing in power with the help of the Left parties and hence it did not do anything against their wishes he alleged. It is evident from the elections that there is Telangana sentiment. Though several Chief Ministers and President of India hailed from Rayalaseema they did not do anything constructively for the development of the area.

As a result it is continue to be in backwardness.

The State government has failed in all fronts he criticised. N.P. Venkateswara Chowdary, State vice-president Santhamma general secretary and Charlapalli Narasimha Reddy were present in the conference.
