Moped rider robbed of mangalsutra

TIRUCHENGODE: Two unidentified motorcycle-borne youths allegedly snatched the gold mangalsutra from a woman employee of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board near here on Saturday.

According to police sources here, the victim in the incident, Sangeetha (29) of Vaiyappamala was returning home from office on her moped, when the two youths committed the deed and made good their escape.

Police have registered a case and further investigation is on into the crime.
