Man run over by train

JOLARPET: A 50-year-old man was run over by a goods train while trying to cross the railway track between Virinjipuram and Latteri stations on Thursday evening.

According to the police, the victim, Kuppan (50) from Achari Street in K.V.Kuppam, was hearing and speech impaired. He was runover by the train bound for Mettur Dam from Chennai.
